Mothers Day in Thailand is the same day as Her Majesty The Queen's Birthday. This date is chosen as Her Majesty is often seen as the mother of all Thai people. Children young and old will also take time this day to pay respect to their mothers, usually presenting them with flowers.

This may also be a good time to send flowers to your in-laws, grandmother or a respected female family member, or to a partner or woman who has children of her own as a mark of respecting them as a good mother.
